Replacing the shower head of your shower is something that you cannot escape. The process is simple and you can do it by yourself.
First, begin by turning off your shower’s water faucet. Changing the hand-held shower head does not require disconnection of the water supply. Using a soft cloth, wrap it around the hose nut right where the hose joins to the shower head holder. This simply helps to protect the connector’s finishing from getting damaged. Use a pair of pliers to remove the nut by turning it counterclockwise. Throw away the existing hand held shower head holder.
Use a rag to clean the shower arm thread. This help to get rid of wasted thread seal tape. Take at least two layers of fresh thread seal tape and wrap around the shower arm threads. Take the new hand held shower head holder and twist it onto the arm of the shower. Use your hand to tighten the holder. Place the washer into the shower hose attached to the hand held shower head.
Adjust the hose onto the thread connector connected to the head holder. Do not use pliers to tighten the shower hose to the holder since it can cause damage to your shower. Just use your bare hands. Position the hand-held shower head handle into the holder and your shower will be as good as new.
